Much appreciation to all cleaners, painters, helpers, food servers, drivers, general onsite volunteers and generous donors: your time and energy during our Painting Bee Nov. 20-22 has made a huge difference.
Special thanks to Savanta LaMar, Painting Bee Coordinator Extraordinaire for the months of hard work and effort she committed to make it all happen.

About Threshold Housing Society:
  :We provide caring, semi-independent, transitional housing for youth at risk of homelessness on Vancouver Island. We currently operate two houses, accommodating 4 youth (aged 16-21) in each house.
Threshold Housing is funded for the most part by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development and Anglican Churches on Vancouver Island, with additional support from other community sponsors such as Thrifty Foods, community service groups (such as Kairos Canada), and generous individual donors. In 2007, 2008, and 2009 our residents appreciated TELUS bursaries to attend the Power of Hope summer camps, the Sail and Life Training program, and Camosun College continuing education courses.

We welcome contributions of time, household supplies, and funds in support of the youth we house. Financial donations can be sent to Threshold Housing Society, 900 Vancouver St. Victoria BC, V8V 3V7. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for all financial donations.
We are excited to announce the Youth Housing Needs Report, commissioned by Threshold along with the Child and Family Counselling. The report was released in Sept. 2008 and is available at the Community Council website http://www.communitycouncil.ca/resources.php
